Event Information:
The Toledo Area Boardsailing Association organizes and hosts the Toledo Windsurfing Championships. The event has always been held the first or second weekend after the Memorial Monday Holiday day and is one of the largest Midwest events of the season. Besides the racing a great party on Sat. evening is organized for competitors and guests.

If you've never raced before don't worry as the Sport Fleet sails a shorter course than the hot-shots in the A-Fleet. Racing is fun and first timers are always welcomed!

Just show up early Saturday morning around 8:30AM and get yourself registered. The first race gun is usually around 11:30 on Saturday morning. The entry fee includes a Saturday evening party. We suggest you number your sails beforehand with 9" or higher letters and or numbers on the starboard (right) side of the sail. If you don't have a number bring some black electrical tape. Usually someone will have a few numbers and letters for sale.

Venue:
The event is held at Maumee Bay State Park which is located just a few miles from Toledo on the south west corner of Lake Erie. Weather conditions can vary greatly in early June however it is not uncommon to be sailing in just a shorty and enjoying 80 degree temperatures by Memorial Day Weekend in northwest Ohio. However it is advisible to be prepared for cool conditions so bring everything you got.
