Stu has a really nice package 4sale. The sail, 2001 Noa V 9.0 is in A- condition that comes with a matching Naish 520 mast in A- and a Fiberspar boom in a B+ condition.
I was hoping to grab the boom off Stu towards my 10.0 WW but the boom is WAY too short. The mast, though is the right length so if there is no significant differences in the bend shape b/w Naish and GT then I should be in a good shape, mast-wise.
So, the latest idea is to get the rig from Stu and enjoy it while scouting for some good buy opportunity for the still missing 280+ carbon boom for the WW rig.
The problem that I am having, though is that the Noa V sail is a freeride, no-cam, all around sail with great handling properties but very little shape, hence low-end power and not the earliest to plane, either; yet, early planing was the whole purpose of this excercise...
