Anyone here windsurf at Moraine much?

Hello!
I have been thinking about trying out windsurfing at Moraine after talking with some people that have sailed at the park.
I moved to the area last year and have a friend that sails there frequently. Once I learned how good of a place Moraine can be to sail, my fascination with surfing kicked in for some reason and I decided to start looking around to see if people windsurfed there at all and came across this site.
It doesn't look like there's much activity here, but figured there might still be some people who check the place out from time to time. If you're one of them, let me know, I'd like to learn as much as I can and try to take a couple of lessons before deciding to dive into spending $2K on gear.

| I actually just got into windsurfing also. I've been sailing up at Moraine for about 5 years now, and just recently acquired a windsurfing board. Unfortunately this seasons pretty much over, but looking forward to many weekends up there in the spring. I was only able to go out once so far. I have to say it's alot of work at first, but completely worth it once you catch that first gust of wind. I just signed up for this website and think it will be a nice way to get through the winter and get stoked for the spring. Hopefully more people will get on board. |
